Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us

Effective Date: November 10, 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how RedNest (hereinafter referred to as "we," "us," or "the Service") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit our website and use our services, including the API.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect several different types of information to provide and improve our Service to you.

2.1. Information You Provide to Us Directly:
  • Account Registration Data: When you create an account on RedNest, we ask you to provide certain personal information, which may include:
    • Email Address: Used as a unique identifier for login, password recovery, and for sending you important notices regarding your account.
    • Password: We store your password in an encrypted (hashed) format. We never store passwords in plain text and do not have access to them.
  • Webhook Configuration: When you configure a webhook, you provide us with the URL of the endpoint to which we will send data from your queues.
2.2. Information Collected Automatically:

When you interact with our Service, we may collect certain information automatically, including:

  • Usage Data: Information on how you use our Service, such as the types of API requests you make (e.g., GET, SET, DELETE, PUSH, POP), webhook delivery attempts and their outcomes, the time and date of requests, and error reports.
  • Log Data: Information that your browser or client sends automatically. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: We use cookies solely to provide core Service functionality, such as maintaining your session after you log in (so you don't have to re-enter your credentials on every page). We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain our Service: To create and manage your account, authenticate you as a user, grant you access to the API, process your data in queues, and deliver data to your configured webhook endpoints.
  • To Communicate with You: To send you service-related messages, security alerts, updates to our Terms of Service, and to respond to your support requests.
  • For Security and Fraud Prevention: To monitor activity to detect suspicious behavior and protect our Service and users from abuse.
  • To Improve our Service: To analyze usage data (in an aggregated and anonymous form) to understand how users interact with our API, which helps us fix bugs and improve functionality.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • To Your Webhook Endpoints: As a core feature of the Service, we will transmit User Data from your queues to the webhook URLs you provide. This sharing of information is initiated and configured by you, and you are solely responsible for the security and privacy practices of these third-party endpoints.
  • Service Providers: We may engage third-party companies to provide infrastructure services (e.g., hosting providers). These companies will have access to your information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or other governmental request.

5. Data Security

We take commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. In particular, we use encryption (SSL/TLS) for data transmission and hashing for storing passwords. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access and Correction: You can review and update your account information through your profile settings.
  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and its associated information at any time. After deletion, some data may be retained for a limited period in our backups or if required by law.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and, in case of significant changes, by sending you an email notification.
